Privacy

This site counts visits itself, on Cloudflare. There are no third-party trackers, ads, or tracking cookies.

Every visit

For each page you open, the site records the page, the time, the referring site, any utm_ campaign tags in the link, your country, and whether you are on a phone, tablet, or desktop. To count unique visitors it keeps a short hash of your IP address and browser that changes every day. Your IP address itself is not stored, and the hash cannot be linked from one day to the next.

Personal links

If you opened this site from a link Nicolás sent you (one ending in ?r=…), a session cookie named nfm_ref remembers that link until you close the browser, so he can see that the link was opened and whether the CV was viewed. Nothing else about you is attached to it.

If you sign in

Signing in with Google or LinkedIn on the contact page sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for 14 days. By default your visits stay anonymous. Only if you choose Share my visits does the site also record your name and email with the pages you view. You can turn this off at any time from the account menu, and turning it off removes your name and email from visits already recorded.

Retention

Individual visits are deleted after 90 days. Daily page-view totals, which contain nothing about you, are kept.
